What’s the plan with the local segments of the ride? Can others join you for a portion of it? See you as you pass? Is this a private ride for you? Just curious how this will work. My husband used to ride with Lance back in the way back days in Texas, and still rides as his main mode of transport. I’m guessing he would be glad to add his legwork to the leg of the trip that goes through our hood (New Orleans & surrounding area). Regardless, it’s quite impressive that you’re doing this. I hope it is indeed cathartic for you, and that there is some peace at the end of the ride.
I would also like to know if others can join. My husband would love to ride with you when you’re near Austin. I would too, but I won’t kid myself that I can keep up!
We’re riding in the Livestrong Challenge in Austin on 10/25. It would be so cool if you guys got here a day earlier to join us!

Wow. Inspiring. I had a friend named Evan who had leukemia. He was like a brother. He ended his personal battle on 10-20-08. It has been a year. I would love to fight his battle on in a similar way.
