Tianna is eight years old attending 2nd grade in San Francisco, California. In her free time, she likes to perform hula + Tahitian dance and play with her American dolls. She was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was six years old and just finished her treatment! When she grows up, Tianna wants to become a Child Life Specialist at a hospital so she can help other children like her Child Life Specialist helped her. Tianna saw a Shutterbugs poster in her hospital and became interested in learning photography and lighting techniques. Capturing moments and having fun with the other students are her favorite parts about the program. Tianna is excited to be an ambassador for childhood cancer awareness because she wants to show patients that she got through her treatment, and they can too!
