Keeping it Sweet
Team Pablove runner Alex Eusebio was pumped to run the Los Angeles Marathon for The Pablove Foundation, but he wanted to take his fundraising strategy to the next level and spread awareness at the same time. Luckily Alex had quite the tools at his disposal in his uber-popular Toluca Lake eatery SweetSalt Food Shop.
SweetSalt’s staff donned Pablove tees for the entire month of February and set out to tell every customer they were fighting childhood cancer with love! Alex and his team also a created special menu item – the Cajun Chicken Sandwich – and generously donated 50% of all proceeds for the month to The Pablove Foundation. The sandwich was a hit, awareness was raised in hundreds of customers, and $2,000 was collected to support Pablove’s mission and programs! SweetSalt’s success is a perfect example of getting a business on board to help The Pablove Foundation (whether it’s yours, or the place where everyone knows your name).
