At The Pablove Foundation, we believe in the power of creative expression to bring healing, confidence, and connection to children living with cancer.

Through our Shutterbugs photography program, we provide young people with the tools, guidance, and encouragement to tell their stories through a new lens — and our volunteer Teaching Artists and Mentors are at the heart of that experience!

Whether you’re a photographer, creative, educator, or simply someone who feels called to support youth in a meaningful way, this is an opportunity to be part of something truly impactful.

What You’ll Be Part Of

As a Shutterbugs volunteer, you’ll help create a supportive, inspiring environment where students can explore photography while building confidence and community.

Depending on your role, you may:

🩷 Guide students through creative photography exercises
🩷 Encourage self-expression and storytelling
🩷 Support virtual or in-person sessions alongside Teaching Artists
🩷Help foster a safe, welcoming, and uplifting space for every student

No matter your role, your presence matters — and the relationships you help build can leave a lasting impact.

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for individuals who are:

🩷 Compassionate, patient, and encouraging
🩷 Passionate about working with youth
🩷 Interested in photography, arts education, or creative expression
🩷 Reliable and able to commit to a full 8-week session
🩷 Excited to be part of a mission-driven community

Photography experience is welcome, but not required for all roles — what matters most is your heart, your presence, and your willingness to show up!

Program Details

Shutterbugs sessions are offered:

🩷 Virtually in the Spring and Fall
🩷 In-person in the Fall (Los Angeles area)

All volunteers receive guidance, resources, and support to feel confident in their role.
