Yazmyne is 14 years old from Denver, Colorado. She likes to play video games, write, and watch movies + TV. Her favorite show is The Walking Dead. Yazmyne was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2017 and is still in treatment, but, her experience has been more interesting then sad. Yazmyne has enjoyed learning more about medicine and medical terms. Using her experience and ambassador role, she wants to bring more awareness to childhood cancer to children so they are more aware of how it happens and how to avoid it. Yazmyne started taking photos before becoming a Shutterbug and thought the program would be a great experience while going through treatment. She loves taking photos because it gives her a chance to look back at some great memories.
