Meet Pablove Shutterbug Claire, age 8, New Orleans  

When Claire was five years old, her parents heard the words that no family wants to hear — “Your child has cancer.” But Claire didn’t let a leukemia diagnosis diminish her smile or dampen her spirit. After hearing about the Pablove Shutterbugs program at their hospital in New Orleans, Claire’s mom enrolled her daughter. She got a chance to learn the art of photography with other kids just like her, living with cancer.

Pablove helped give Claire a healing, creative outlet and today, we are thrilled to share that she is in remission and cancer-free! Now, Claire’s packing her bags and taking her *first* trip to California to attend her *first ever* Shutterbugs Summer Camp! She’ll get to meet fellow Shutterbugs from across the country and practice her photography skills in nature while enjoying all the traditional Summer Camp favorites like swimming, arts n’ crafts and s’mores by the fire.

Shutterbugs Summer Camp is offered to families at no cost and fully-supported by the contributions of donors like you.
