raul@pablove.org

In his role as Pablove Shutterbugs Program Director, Raul oversees Pablove’s healing arts programming that is conducted across our national sites and now, virtually! He works together with national communities and his fellow Pablove colleagues to bring the joy of photography to kids and teens living with cancer. Raul has 10 years in the nonprofit sector and has been working with pediatric cancer communities for just as long. His career vision lies at the intersection of art education and advocacy for social justice. He is a graduate from the University of CA, Davis and holds a BA in History and Chicano Studies, with an emphasis in Public Policy and Education, and a minor in Latin-American and Hemispheric Studies. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and visiting local plant nurseries in search of new flora to add to his collection.
