Tina Schwartz

Board Chair

Originally a west coast girl Tina Schwartz has found that her heart lives in Texas and is now a 20-year Houstonian resident.  Her passion for art and children fuels Tina’s dedication to Pablove’s mission; she joined the Pablove Board of Directors in 2021 and became its first female chair in 2023.

Before dedicating herself to this leadership role, Tina was already very involved in pablove: Her husband Dick Schwartz is a multi-year Pablove Across America (PAA) rider, and Tina is now embarking on her 2nd PAA ride.  Note that Tina only started cycling in order to ride PAA!  Her contributions are numerous: She recruited more members of her family and friends to PAA, serves as a volunteer Teaching Assistant for the Shutterbugs Program in Houston, and serves as a co-chair of the Houston Friends of Pablove group and its signature event ARTcetera.

Her energy, love and enthusiasm for Pablove and the Shutterbugs program are palpable, and she brings an abundance of fun, passion and joy to whatever she takes on.  Tina believes in following your heart and making this world a better place: especially for kids!  She recently left her Real Estate career to pursue a fine arts degree in sculpture at the University of Houston, and she feels blessed to have the opportunity to babysit three of her ten beautiful grandchildren three days a week.
