Title: Development and Outreach Manager
Reports to: Vice President of Development

This position will act as a key driver of Pablove’s Heart of Pablove Sustainable Fundraising initiative under the general supervision of the VP of Development. To be successful, the Development and Outreach Manager will ideate and lead fresh tactics for Pablove’s donor cultivation and community building, including in virtual settings. In addition, this position will lead and/or support foundation events and be a productive member of the collaborative Pablove team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Own Pablove’s Heart of Pablove Sustainable Fundraising (Benevon) initiative and ensure that all aspects of the plan are successfully implemented, including on-site and virtual tour coordination, ambassador and table captain recruitment & stewardship, donor cultivation and event production (in-person and virtual), to name a few.
  • Ideate fresh tactics for Pablove’s community-building and word-of-mouth; and lead and execute robust donor stewardship, cultivation, ensuring that our constituents feel the love!
  • Manage and significantly grow our Kindhearted monthly giving program and steward current members.
  • Serve as event manager for our national gallery shows and other fundraising events.
  • Build on our newly-created Pablove One Another Dinner Series and Champion 4 Champions campaign by recruiting participants and providing exquisite support.
  • Be out and about in the Southern California community to share the Pablove through networking and social engagement, with the end goal of enhancing our fundraising initiatives and securing new donors and supporters.
  • Enhance donor and constituent relationships through implementing an annual Cultivation Superhighway calendar.
  • Collaborate on timely creation of marketing materials and other collateral.
  • Work as a team member to implement the strategic plan for The Pablove Foundation.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • At least 4+ years of Fundraising and/or Special Events experience, preferably as part of a Development Team and/or non-profit environment
  • Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative success in fundraising
  • Familiarity and experience with process driven systematic fundraising, e.g. experience with Benevon
  • 2 years of event production

OTHER DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Bubbly and engaging personality and comfort being in social and networking settings with high integrity, tact and people skills
  • Experience in donor maintenance or management; event sponsorship fulfillment a plus
  • Strong judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to stay organized while advancing and tracking multiple tasks and project
  • Reliable transportation (Proof of Insurance) with ability to travel (limited air travel may be necessary)
  • Strong oral and written communication with a variety of constituencies
  • Teamwork and customer service
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to be effective in can-do environments (innovative, making things work, collaborative, ability to learn and ask questions effective)
  • Efficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suites or similar product suite
  • Ability to operate cloud based and vendor platforms, including SalesForce
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and sense of humor with a drive to succeed
