World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (World Wide) is partnering with The Pablove Foundation (Pablove), to fight pediatric cancers through the release of the award-winning film, Ways To Live Forever. Based on the acclaimed British children’s novel by Sally Nicholls, this heartfelt picture, which opens nationwide this summer, tells the inspiring story of an ambitious 12-year-old named Sam and his best friend, Felix who, despite battling leukemia, embark on a mission to achieve their dreams, answers their burning questions, and grow up fast.

Ways To Live Forever stars critically acclaimed actors Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line, The Truth About Cats & Dogs), Greta Scacchi (The Player, Emma), Robbie Kay (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Alex Etel (The Water Horse), Emilia Fox (Pride And Prejudice – BBC), and Ella Purnell (Intruders, Never Let Me Go). The film has garnered numerous awards, including; Best Feature Film from the European Children’s Film Association, Best Picture at the Bordeaux International Festival of Women in Cinema, the Heartland Film Festival Audience Award, and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival’s Jury Prize.

“As a parent, Ways To Live Forever truly spoke to my heart.” said Pablove’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Jo Ann Thrailkill, whose six-year-old son, Pablo, lost his battle to a rare form of childhood cancer. “The story is not one of sadness, but one of hope and perseverance in the face of tragedy, just like our story at The Pablove Foundation. We are grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness of childhood cancer through such a beautiful film.”

A portion of the box office earnings will be earmarked to benefit Pablove, as well as other cancer-related groups and organizations that are helping to bring awareness to both the movie and its message. In anticipation of the film’s U.S. theatrical release, nationally renowned book publisher Scholastic has plans to release an enhanced eBook version of the best-selling novel on which the film is based.

“We are delighted to be working with The Pablove Foundation in a combined effort to support patients and families struggling with leukemia and other childhood cancers,” offers Paul D. Hancock, World Wide’s President and CEO. “We’re hopeful that by raising public awareness of organizations like Pablove and Ways To Live Forever, we can contribute to funding research and patient support both directly through our box office contribution and indirectly by bringing more attention to the message.”
