Now Registering for Pablove’s
LA Marathon team!
Runners of all skill levels are invited to join The Pablove Foundation’s official 2012 Honda LA Marathon team. Registration opens September 1 to commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Members of Team Pablove get access to exclusive team activities like a pre-race hospitality suite, gourmet carbo-load dinner, and race gear for the big day. Runners also have the option to train with the Natural Running Network & Diaz Human Performance, the official training partner for Team Pablove in the 2012 LA Marathon. With nearly two decades of experience in performance training and heart rate diagnostics, expert coach Richard Diaz developed the 22-week Natural Running Network program to focus on proper, natural form to maximize economy and efficiency in distance running.
“Most runners never realize the importance of energetic feedback or simple, problematic mistakes in running form until it is too late. Our program focuses on these concerns and is uniquely tailored to each runner, so it’s great for the novice runner as well as a practiced athlete who wants take their race to the next level,” Diaz said.
Training begins October 1 at a discounted rate of $100 for Team Pablove runners (regular cost $150). The LA Marathon is capping registrations this year, so potential runners are encouraged to sign up early.
This will be Pablove’s second year as an official charity of the Honda LA Marathon. Pablove’s first-ever team of 28 runners raised over $50,000 to support The Pablove Foundation’s mission and programs last March in a race that will be forever remembered for record storms and cold temperatures.
“Being an official charity of the LA Marathon is truly special to our organization. Pablove headquarters is on mile seven of the race route, so the runners travel right by our front door,” said Pablove executive director and co founder Jo Ann Thrailkill. “We were blown away by the dedication of our runners last March, and we can’t wait to welcome more supporters to the team. Our official partnership with the Natural Running Network is a huge perk for runners, whether this is your first or fiftieth marathon.”
“If you’ve always wanted to run a marathon, what better way to do it than running for a great cause?” Diaz added. “We are so excited for this opportunity to make a difference.”
