The Pablove Foundation is one the nation’s fastest growing innovative philanthropic organizations focused on childhood cancer. Kids living with cancer are special – they live amazing lives full of inspiration, hope, love, and laughter. Pablove is seeking a creative, performance-oriented Marketing Director to lead the growth of our constituent base and brand awareness efforts. The ideal candidate lives for social media and knows the ins and outs of their favorite companies’ strategies and campaigns, while understanding the technical, financial, and logistical programs it takes to build a great brand.  This is an exciting stage for our new team leader, who wants to work hard (and work with others) to redefine how Pablove is seen as an innovative and impactful organization while  achieving our vision to help kids with cancer live – a love-filled life today, and a cancer-free life tomorrow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Director will have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Shape the big picture storyline that connects Pablove’s mission and holistic approach of utilizing art and science to address childhood cancer.
  • Conceptualize, build, and execute full marketing and brand content strategy and targeted campaigns leveraging website, video, social, blog, and PR opportunities.
  • Create and manage editorial calendar across program, fundraising campaign, event, brand partnership and PR efforts.
  • Direct efforts and oversee all copy, design, video, web, and other creative that represents the Pablove brand in a consistent, mission-aligned manner.
  • Utilize data and insights to continuously refine overall marketing strategy and existing campaigns in order to increase audience awareness, procurement, and retention.
  • Oversee the development of impactful co-marketing programs and revenue driving initiatives with brand partners and influencers.
  • Create and manage the marketing team’s annual budget.
  • Lead PR plan development and execution, managing the day-to-day relationship of the Agency of Record to determine the right strategy to create awareness and consideration for Pablove.
  • Partner with internal leaders and teams to build and execute unique approaches that serve the programmatic and fundraising needs of the organization while establishing a strong revenue-driving organic growth roadmap.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, determining the best ways to leverage their time and talents to meet the needs of the Foundation. Provide guidance to this staff and encourage professional development and growth.
  • Be a front-facing brand ambassador and help spark meaningful partnerships with the aim of drawing them into the Pablove community while meeting their philanthropic and storytelling goals.  
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to anticipate big-picture opportunities and challenges, and how marketing can play an essential role in meeting the goals of the strategic plan.

MUST-HAVES

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the field of marketing/communications/advertising industries is a must.
  • A strong understanding of how to hire and lead a team with diverse skillsets across branding and design, PR, social media, and communications.
  • An incredible passion for our mission that invigorates and excites everyone with whom you share it with.
  • A network of strong relationships with marketing, advertising, and PR leaders.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, articulate and persuasive, with well-honed relationship building skills.
  • Drive, sophistication, and passion, excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of the marketing team and Pablove as a whole.
  • A team-orientation and strong work ethic, essential for this demanding environment that continually strives for excellence.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills possessing the ability to represent Pablove to senior level partner stakeholders.
