We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2013 Childhood Cancer Research Grants. The purpose of these research grants is to fund senior postdoctoral fellows/junior faculty (M.D. or Ph.D.) or to provide seed money to established investigators for innovative basic, translational, clinical and epidemiological research directed to pediatric and adolescent cancer. Applications that focus on rare childhood cancers will be given preference. Applications from senior fellows and junior faculty investigators are particularly encouraged. Applications are due March 1, 2013 and can be downloaded from pablove.org/grants/apply.
The Scientific Advisory Committee will review the applications and make recommendations for funding to the Board of Directors. Successful applicants will be notified by May 31, 2013 following approval of the Board of Directors. The award will be effective July 1, 2013 for a period of 1 year.
